Soon, a new completely free vocational training course for producers, technicians and transformers in organic farming will start through distance learning method (DL): it will be subdivided in 6 modules as follows:
MODULE 1 – Agro-technical skills updating (24 hours)
MODULE 2 – Controlling and Certifications relating problems (24 hours)
MODULE 3 – Commercialising of organic food products (24 hours)
MODULE 4 – Identity preservation from GMO-contamination (16 hours)
MODULE 5 – Organic farming related community normative and policies (12 hours)
MODULE 6 – Basic concepts of business organisation and ICT-applications for agricultural enterprises (40 hours)

BIOADRIA Kick-off meeting

Saturday June 9^th 2007 in Senigallia at 9.00am> the kick-off meeting for INTERREG project “Bioadria – the Adriatic organic farming” organized by lead partner Associazione Terre dell'Adriatico will take place at “Rotonda a Mare”.
The workshop, focusing on organic farming technical development, will continue on June 10^th at the Senigallia Public Library and on June 11^th in Ortona (PE) at Palazzo Corvo.
On June 12^th in San Giovanni Rotondo (FG) at Agrifarm D’Apolito, the seminar will discuss the development and integration of organic and agrifood products market.
The activities will continue on june 13^th in Rignano G.go (FG) at Masseria Paglicci and terminate on June 14^th in Rodi G.go at citrus fruits farm Alfredo Ricucci.

Kick-off meeting of BIOADRIA project

The kick-off meeting of the INTERREG project called “The Adriatic Organic Farming – BIOADRIA” was held on the 9th and 10th June. The working session was opened by Luigi Rebecchini, Councillor of Tourism of the County of Senigallia and Marco Bellardi, director of International and Community Relations of the Marche Region. Organic farming, as a quality factor of tourism and New Community Programming Guidelines were the main themes discussed during the introductory part. Furthermore, Dr. Gaetano Sinatti, coordinator of the Associazione Terre dell’Adriatico – Adrialand, also coordinator and lead partner of BIOADRIA project, presented the aims of the project: to create a trans-Adriatic cooperation with organic farmer associations from both side of the Adriatic, in order to compare technical and commercial challenges of the sector. The speaker, Mr Sinatti also talked about the project’s website www.bioadria.eu, as a useful tool to create BioAdriaNet, a permanent coordination network among BIOADRIA partners.

Workshop: Organic Farming Technical Development

Melotto Sante Giovanni, A.Ve.Pro.Bi president will open the session together with officers of Veneto and Verona County and Veneto Region. In the afternoon technicians will speak about new tecniques of plant disease defence.

Thursday, 13th September 2007 - Pegolotte di Cona (Veneto)

The workshop will continue on the next day with farm visits and tecnical debate.

Workshop: technical progress of organic agriculture
Pro.B.E.R technical responsible Alberto Veronesi and Associazione “Poderi di Romagna” president Christian Grassi will open the section by introducing the participants to technical and economical aspects of organic agriculture in Emilia Romagna.
Works will follow in the morning with the visit to Apicoltura Ortolani Farm and to Ettore Matarrese’s Il Palazzo Vineyard and in the afternoon with the visit to SUBA in Rimini.

Workshop: Marketing strategies for the organic products: from the small farm to the big farmer cooperatives
Pro.B.E.R. president Paolo Carnemolla will open the second study day by referring about organic products market significant aspects at a regional, national and international level.
Associazione “Campi Aperti” president Michele Caravita, Pro.B.E.R technical responsible Alberto Veronesi and Rete Bio associated Paolo Vincenzi will bring their contribute by speaking about relevant aspects of direct sale. In the afternoon meetings by Conapi, Progeo, ApoConerpo stands will follow.

12-13-14 November,2007 workshop Bosnia-Herzegovina

Starts on the 12 November, 2007 in Banja Luka the first BIOADRIA workshop in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

On the first day speakers and participants will discuss on the development of organic farming at the Agricultural Institute in Banja Luka. Next days the programme will continue in Mostar and Sarajevo involving local experts from the University of Mostar, Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Association of producers and lots more.

BIOADRIA at "Onda su onda", Pesaro 23-26 November

BIOADRIA takes part to the fair "ONDA SU ONDA", a food, wine, farming and fishing products expo completely dedicated to the Adriatic Regions, which will open on friday 23rd November at Quartiere Fieristico di Campanara in Pesaro.

Games, labs, talks, a library completely dedicated to food, sampling, many “gluttony isles,” famous chefs, conversations about foods and etiquette, organic food, music, photography and cinema… OndaSuOnda will be all these: a large marketplace filled with numerous cultural events, with space for games and labs, and areas completely dedicated to sipping a good glass of wine, while buying or tasting something. A unique chance to try the best food coming from the Adriatic Euro-Region followed by a long list of events which will cover three of the four-day exposition.

BIOADRIA at BIOFEST in Subotica (Serbia)

On the 15th October, 2007 starts BIOFEST in Subotica, Serbia. There will be a trade fair and market of organic products and a special award will be given to the best organic food product of the year. In the afternoon there will be a workshop with tecnicians and experts.

BIOADRIA partners will participate on this event.
